What is the Booth Seat?
The Booth Seat is a freestanding modular café and restaurant bench seat made entirely from aluminum with stainless steel fixings. It measures 47.2″ (120 cm) long, 19.7″ (50 cm) deep and 32.9″ (83.5 cm) high, with a seat height of 17.3″ (44 cm), and weighs 61.7 lbs (28 kg). It can be assembled with the backrest as a booth seat, or without it as a bench seat, and suits both indoor and outdoor use.
What else is the Booth Seat called?
The Booth Seat is also known as booth seating, a restaurant booth seat, café bench seat, banquette seating, diner seating, or outdoor bench seating. Because the backrest is optional, it works as either a booth seat or a bench seat depending on how it's assembled.
Is the Booth Seat freestanding or fixed to the wall?
Freestanding. The Booth Seat doesn't fix to the wall or floor, so it can be positioned anywhere and moved when you need to reconfigure your space or clean behind it. At 61.7 lbs (28 kg) it's substantial enough to stay put in normal use, but it isn't a permanent installation — useful for leased spaces, seasonal outdoor setups, or venues that rearrange their layout.
Is the Booth Seat easy to assemble?
Yes. The Booth Seat comes with clear instructions and all required components. Assemble it with the backrest for a classic booth seat, or leave the backrest off for a lower bench seat.
Can the Booth Seat be used outdoors?
Yes. The Booth Seat is built from full aluminum with stainless steel fixings, so it's rust-resistant and suitable for outdoor café terraces, restaurant patios and courtyard dining. Aluminum won't rust in coastal or wet conditions the way steel will. Being freestanding, it can also be moved inside over winter or brought in overnight.
Can the Booth Seat be used without the backrest?
Yes. The backrest is optional. With it, overall height is 32.9″ (83.5 cm); without it, you have a 17.3″ (44 cm) high bench seat that sits low enough to tuck under a window or run along a wall without blocking sightlines.
How many people fit on one Booth Seat?
The Booth Seat comfortably fits two adults or three children.
How much space does a full booth setup need?
A full booth uses two Booth Seats facing each other with a Booth Table centred between them. Allow 47.2″ (120 cm) wide × 62.9″ (160 cm) deep, measured out from the wall.
The depth comes from two seats at 19.7″ (50 cm) each plus the 27.6″ (70 cm) table, less a 2″ (5 cm) overlap where the table sits over each seat's front edge. That leaves roughly 23.6″ (60 cm) of clear space between the seat fronts — enough legroom for two people opposite each other with comfortable reach across the table.
What café furniture pairs well with the Boot Seat?
The Booth Seat pairs with the 15.7″ (40 cm) Wall-Mounted Café Table to create a bench seat, or you can pair two Booth Seats with and the Booth Table to create a modular booth design. It is not compatible with the removable table bracket.
How do you clean the Booth Seat?
Wipe down or dust with a dry cloth for everyday care. For marks or spills, use warm soapy water and a soft cloth, then dry thoroughly. Avoid abrasive cleaners, which can mark the finish.
Is the Booth Seat comfortable?
The Booth Seat is comfortable as a standalone café seating solution, and you can choose to add cushions for an extra layer of comfort. This makes it easy to tailor the seating to your space — from clean, minimal bench seating to a softer booth setup.
What spaces is the Booth Seat suited for?
The Booth Seat works in cafés, restaurants, bars, hotels and outdoor dining areas, as well as office and workplace break-out spaces. Because it's freestanding and modular, it can run as a single bench along a wall or be configured into facing booths, and reconfigured as your layout changes.
