We don't have a marketing team that talks in superlatives. What we do have is a lot of café owners who do, and in early 2026 they've been particularly vocal about our Bakery Display Case.

Here's what they said.

"It elevated our front counter."

That's David from Toronto. He bought one to anchor his café counter and was surprised by the finish. His only note? He was expecting glass and got perspex. For the record: yes, it's high-quality acrylic. It's lighter, more durable, and far less likely to shatter in a busy service environment. We'd make the same call again.

"We are on our third case."

Nichole from Michigan didn't stumble onto George & Willy. She came back. Twice. Three display cases later, she noted one honest wish: a version with an internal shelf, so she doesn't have to stack two units to get the height. It's a fair point and one we've heard enough times that it's on our radar.

"I've bought four so far."

Catherine from Oklahoma City runs a bakery and keeps expanding her counter setup. Her review is a sentence we think about a lot: "They look sleek and stylish and complement my bakery completely." That's exactly what we're building toward. A display that doesn't announce itself, just makes everything around it look better.

"Perfect for my little bookstore café."

Liz in Portland uses hers for pastries in a bookstore-café hybrid. She flagged the stackable design as the deciding factor. Start with one, scale later, replace nothing. That's intentional. We built it to grow with you.

"Simply incredible. Easy to set up and completely elevated our new pastry menu."

Max in Ohio assembled his solo, launched a new pastry menu around it, and ended his review with: "This makes us want to buy more products from George & Willy." We'll take it.

"Sturdy, lightweight, easy to assemble and easy to clean."

Daniel in Sydney has bought multiple units for his café and keeps reordering. His review is essentially a three-word product brief: sturdy, lightweight, easy. Works for us.

"Gorgeous display counter for our cakes, buns and brownies."

Louisa in England assembled hers in twenty minutes and mentioned the gold colour as a specific delight. She also made a suggestion we liked: an accessory shelf for gluten-free separation. Smart thinking.

"It looks modern and fits our café perfectly."

Eunha in San Jose was straightforward: fast delivery, excellent quality, modern aesthetic. Her café in California is now one of several hundred globally running a George & Willy counter.

Bakery display case in use

Not just for cafés.

Patrick in Michigan bought one to display skincare products at events. It travels well, assembles quickly, and photographs cleanly under event lighting. If your product deserves a proper display, the case doesn't care what industry you're in.

The honest version.

We included a 4-star review too, because we think it's useful. PDX Coffee Club in Portland noted that crumbs can gather along the hinged bars when units are stacked, and that the price point is premium. Both true. On cleaning: a soft brush along the hinge line after service solves it. On price: we're not the cheapest option. We're the one people come back for a third time.

What this tells us.

Across thirty-six reviews in the first months of 2026, a few things repeat: easy assembly, counter elevation, stackability, and a design that gets out of the way and lets the product do the talking. That's what we were going for.

If you're outfitting a café counter, a market stall, a bookstore, or a skincare pop-up, the Bakery Display Case is here.
