Menu & Poster Signs
Every sign in this collection takes a printed insert rather than letters — so you design your menu, print it, and swap it in. Nothing to set by hand, no letters to run out of, and your artwork can be as detailed as you like.
That suits venues whose menus change often, anyone with designed branding they want reproduced exactly, and spaces where a printed sheet is quicker than setting a board. All inserts are standard paper sizes, so any local print shop can produce them.
The range
Poster Sidewalk Sign — a double-sided freestanding A-frame holding an A1 poster between clear acrylic panels. 39″ × 24.6″ (99 × 62.5 cm), includes a sandbag, and the feet remove with an Allen key for transport. Remove the acrylic and it takes a rigid corflute or ACM board instead, for a longer-lasting outdoor display.
Tall Poster Sidewalk Sign — the same A1 system at 63″ (160 cm), for visibility further down the street. Also double-sided, also includes a sandbag.
Standing Sign Holder — a double-sided A4 display on a freestanding base, 45.3″ (115 cm) tall and 6.8 lbs (3.1 kg). The print sits between two clear acrylic sheets. Suits entrances, wayfinding and table-level information.
Poster Hanging Menu Board — a single-sided A1 frame that hangs from the ceiling or mounts to a wall, with a polycarbonate front and four extension rods for adjusting the drop. 11.9 lbs (5.4 kg).
Common questions
What size posters do these take?
A1 (23.4″ × 33.1″ / 59.4 × 84 cm) for the Poster Sidewalk Signs and the Poster Hanging Menu Board, and A4 (8.3″ × 11.7″ / 21 × 29.7 cm) for the Standing Sign Holder. All are standard paper sizes, so any print shop can produce them and you can print A4 yourself.
Allow a small margin around the edge of your artwork — the frame overlaps the poster slightly, so keep important text and logos inside the edge.
Are they double-sided?
The Poster Sidewalk Sign, Tall Poster Sidewalk Sign and Standing Sign Holder are all double-sided, so your message reads from both directions — print one double-sided sheet, or two single-sided sheets back to back. The Poster Hanging Menu Board is single-sided.
Can they be used outdoors?
The Poster Sidewalk Signs are built for footpath use and include a sandbag. The Standing Sign Holder can be used outdoors but isn't waterproof, so keep it sheltered. The Poster Hanging Menu Board is indoor only.
For any of them, a paper poster is the weak point outdoors — printing on coreflute, Coroplast or a rigid ACM board handles wet conditions far better, and the Poster Sidewalk Signs are designed to take rigid board with the acrylic panels removed.
How do you change the poster?
The poster sits between clear acrylic or polycarbonate panels that separate to let you swap the print. No tools needed, and it takes seconds — which is the point of the system.
How do these compare to a letter board?
A printed poster gives you full control of layout, typography and images, and takes seconds to swap once printed. A letter board is set by hand, so it's slower to change and limited to the letters in the set — but there's no printing involved, which suits a specials board that changes daily. Many venues use both: a printed menu, and a letter board for the specials.
Can I use the same design inside and out?
Yes. The Poster Sidewalk Signs and Poster Hanging Menu Board all take A1, so one design printed twice gives you matching signage on the footpath and above the counter.
