What is the Wooden Pegboard Shelf?
The Wooden Pegboard Shelf is a wall-mounted birch plywood board with a grid of holes, and a system of wooden dowels and shelves that slot in wherever you want them. The board is 31.5″ × 31.5″ (80 × 80 cm) and 0.7″ (1.8 cm) thick, so you can rearrange the layout whenever your needs change.
What else is it called?
A pegboard, wall organiser, display board, or modular shelving system. It's used in shops for product display, in cafés for merchandise, and at home in kitchens, offices and entryways.
What is included?
Two pack options. Standard includes 1 pegboard, 1 small shelf, 1 large shelf and 8 wooden dowels. Double includes 1 pegboard, 2 small shelves, 2 large shelves and 16 dowels — the same board with twice the shelving and pegs.
What size are the shelves and dowels?
The small shelf is 13.2″ × 7.1″ (33.6 × 18 cm), the large is 23.7″ × 7.1″ (60.3 × 18 cm). Dowels are 7.9″ (20 cm) long and 1.2″ (3 cm) in diameter — long enough to hang bags, tools, or rolled items across two pegs.
How much weight can each shelf hold?
Up to 11 lbs (5 kg) per shelf.
Can I buy extra shelves and dowels?
Yes. Extra kits of shelves and dowels are sold separately, so you can add to a Standard pack later rather than committing to a Double up front.
Can I mount several boards together?
Yes, and we'd recommend it. Boards look best in a row along a wall, and it gives you far more freedom in arranging pegs and shelves across the full run.
What is the Wooden Pegboard Shelf made from?
Architectural-grade birch plywood, 0.7″ (1.8 cm) thick.
How is the Wooden Pegboard Shelf installed?
The board screws directly to the wall, and wood screws are included. These fix into solid timber framing — for masonry or plasterboard between studs, you'll need to source the appropriate fixings yourself.
