What is the Café Chair?
The Café Chair is a stackable aluminum chair for cafés, bars and restaurants, sold as a set of two. Each chair is 20″ × 21.5″ (51 × 55 cm) with a 17″ (45 cm) seat height and 30″ (77 cm) overall height, weighs 4.4 lbs (2 kg), and arrives fully assembled. They come in raw, black, or aluminum.
What else is it called?
A café chair, bistro chair, restaurant chair, stacking chair or outdoor dining chair.
What table height does it suit?
At 17″ (45 cm) seat height, the Café Chair pairs with a table around 29.5″ (75 cm) — standard dining height. That includes our Café Table, the Booth Table at table height, and the wall-mounted tables mounted at dining height.
Do the chairs stack?
Yes. They stack for storage, so you can clear the floor at close, stow them out of season, or pack them away for a function.
Do they come assembled?
Yes. The chairs arrive fully assembled — no tools, no parts, nothing to put together.
Can they be used outdoors?
Yes. They're aluminum, so they won't rust and suit terraces, courtyards and covered outdoor areas as well as interiors — including coastal locations where salt air is hard on steel furniture. At 4.4 lbs (2 kg) each they're light enough to bring in easily at close.
How many come in a set?
Two. The Café Chair is sold as a set of two rather than individually.
What's the difference between the Café Chair and the stools?
The Café Chair has a back, so it suits sit-down dining where people stay a while. The Low Stool is backless at the same 17.3″ (44 cm) seat height, for quicker turnover or tighter spaces. The Bar Stool is backless at 29.5″ (75 cm), for counters and bar-height tables.
How do you clean them?
Wipe with a damp cloth and dry. Avoid abrasive cleaners, which can mark the finish.
What furniture pairs with the Café Chair?
The Café Table at 29.5″ (75 cm) is the natural match. The Booth Seat shares a 17.3″ (44 cm) seat height, so chairs and bench seating sit level around one table.
