What is the Round Light Box Sign?

The Round Light Box Sign is an illuminated wall-mounted storefront sign with a circular face, made from aluminum with an acrylic panel. It comes in two sizes: medium at 23.6″ (60 cm) diameter and 22 lbs (10 kg), or small at 15.7″ (40 cm) and 12.8 lbs (5.8 kg). Both run on 12 V with a 4000–4500K LED output and include a dimmer, 6 m cable and international plugs. Supplied as a blank, ready for a signwriter to apply your artwork.

How is the Round Light Box Sign powered?

The sign runs on 12 V and includes a 6 m cable, a dimmer, and plugs for AU/NZ, US and EU outlets. It can be plugged in or hardwired by a qualified electrician.

The sign itself is weatherproof, but the plug, dimmer and cable connection must be indoors — so an outdoor installation needs the cable run through the wall to an interior power point or switchboard. Measure the full cable path, not just the distance along the wall, when checking the 6 m will reach.

Do I need an electrician to install the Round Light Box Sign?

For a plug-in installation you don't necessarily need one, but any outdoor install involves running the cable through the wall to an indoor connection, so most customers use an electrician. The LEDs run at 4000–4500K, a neutral white that reads clearly at night without a blue cast. A dimmer is included, so brightness can be adjusted to suit your frontage.

Can the Round Light Box Sign be used outdoors?

Yes — the sign housing is weatherproof and built for exterior use, with aluminum that won't rust in coastal conditions. The electrical components are not: the plug, dimmer and cable connection all need to be indoors.

What is the Round Light Box Sign made from?

An aluminum housing with an acrylic panel. Aluminum doesn't rust, so it outlasts steel or timber outdoors, and the acrylic diffuses the LED light evenly across the face.

Does it come with mounting hardware?

Yes. Stainless-steel wood screws are supplied, designed to fix into solid timber framing. For brick, concrete, block or render, you'll need to source the appropriate masonry anchors yourself. At 5.8–10 kg the sign needs a secure fixing into solid structure, not plasterboard or cladding alone.

Is the Round Light Box Sign suitable for windy locations?

Once fixed into a solid substrate, the Round Light Box Sign is built to handle normal exterior conditions, including wind and rain. In very exposed or coastal locations, we'd recommend a professional installer assess your wall before fixing.

Does the Round Light Box Sign arrive branded?
