A menu display gives your menu a defined place — on a wall, hanging above the counter, or standing at the entrance. Choose the format that suits your space and the way your menu changes.

Letter boards
Peg Letter Board — a grid of holes that letters peg into, so you can centre, indent and column your layout rather than working line by line. Three sizes in powder-coated steel, each hanging portrait or landscape, with letters in two heights. The small and medium mount on hidden magnets, so they lift straight off the wall to be set at a bench.
Wooden Peg Letter Board — the same grid system in USA oak or walnut veneer, with white letters in two heights. Two sizes, both hanging either orientation.
Felt Letter Board and Market Felt Board — letters slot into felt for a softer, warmer look.
Magnetic menu displays
Arch, Curve, Circle and Rectangle Menu Displays — the same steel face and magnetic letter system in four outline shapes, so you choose the one that suits your fit-out. Letters come in two sizes so you can mix headings and detail, and they sit anywhere on the face rather than on fixed lines. Most mount horizontally or vertically.
Hanging menu boards
Portrait and Landscape Hanging Menu Boards — suspend from the ceiling or mount to a wall, keeping the menu visible above a queue where a counter-level board gets blocked. Two sizes each, with magnetic letters as an optional add-on, and extension rods for adjusting the drop.
Poster Hanging Menu Board — the same hanging format taking a printed A1 poster behind polycarbonate, for a designed menu you print yourself.
Freestanding menu displays
Menu Stand — holds an A3 menu behind an acrylic cover on a weighted base, 45.5″ (115.5 cm) tall. Suits an entrance where people read the menu before coming in.
Arch and Rectangle Tabletop Signs — 11.8″ × 19.7″ (30 × 50 cm) steel faces with magnetic letters, sized to work as a menu on a counter rather than a small price sign.
Handwritten menus
Studio Roller — a wall-mounted kraft paper dispenser in three widths up to 35.4″ (90 cm). Pull down a fresh sheet and write a new menu, with no limit on layout, drawing or characters. Ships with a 75 m roll, and takes standard rolls from any supplier.
Market Chalkboard Menu — a chalk surface for a hand-lettered menu.
Common questions
Which menu display should I choose?
It comes down to how your menu changes. Letters give you a consistent, typeset look and suit a menu that changes weekly or seasonally. A handwritten roller or chalkboard is instant and unlimited, which suits daily specials. A printed poster gives you full control of typography and images, and swaps in seconds once printed.
Then think about placement. Wall panels hang as one piece in a defined area. Hanging boards sit above head height, so they stay visible over a queue. Freestanding displays go at an entrance or on a counter, and move whenever you reconfigure.
Wall panel or rail system?
A single panel hangs as one piece, which is simpler to install and reads as a defined block. Our rail menus mount as ten individual rails you space yourself, so the menu can be any size and shape your wall allows. Choose a panel for a defined area, rails for a larger or unusual wall.
How much text fits on a menu display?
It varies by board and letter size. Larger letters read from further back but fit fewer words per line — worth thinking about how far your customers stand from the board. Each product page lists letter heights and board dimensions.
Can these be used outdoors?
These are designed as indoor displays, so we'd recommend keeping them inside or in a fully covered area. For outdoor menus, see our sidewalk signs, which include letter boards and poster frames built for footpath use.
How are they installed?
Each board comes with mounting hardware and instructions. Most need a drill, a level and a second pair of hands. The supplied screws fix into timber and drywall — for tile, brick or concrete, source the appropriate fixings from a hardware store. The freestanding displays need no fixings at all.
Do the letters come with the board?
Most boards include a full set. The hanging menu boards take letters as an optional add-on you select when ordering, so they arrive together.
Can I buy extra letters?
Yes, extra sets are available for each board. Each board has its own letter system — magnetic, peg, felt or card — so check which you need before topping up an existing setup.
