Tabletop & Counter Signs

The counter is where people decide. A clear price, a product name, a table number — small signs doing quiet work, updated as often as your day requires.

Everything here is sized for a counter, table or shelf, and everything is designed to be changed by hand in seconds rather than reprinted.

Price tags and product labels

Pricing Signs are the smallest, at 1.4″ × 0.5″ (3.5 × 1.2 cm) in sets of 20, with magnetic numbers for pricing individual products. Large Pricing Signs are 3.5″ × 0.4″ (8.8 × 1.1 cm) strips in sets of 12, with letters as well as numbers so a short product name fits alongside the price. Both have rails to keep the letters straight, and arrive in a slide-open wooden box that doubles as storage.

Counter signs with changeable letters

Magnetic steel signs that stand on the counter, in sets, with a full set of magnetic letters included.

Counter Signs are the standard at 3.5″ × 1.7″ (9 × 4.3 cm), in sets of 12. The Round, Circle and Curve Counter Signs are the same idea in different outline shapes. Medium and Large Counter Signs step up in size for messages read from further back, and Standing Counter Signs sit higher on the counter.

Pick the size by reading distance and the shape by fit-out — they all use the same letter system.

Handwritten cards

Card Counter Signs hold a handwritten card at an angle for easy reading from above. Sets of 12 with 100 blank cards, and because the cards are standard business card size, replacements are easy to buy anywhere — or have printed with your branding.

Menu and message holders

Table Talkers are double-sided magnetic steel faces on beechwood bases, holding a printed card with magnets. Sets of 6 taking A5 or A6, or Large Table Talkers in sets of 2 taking A4 — a full menu at an entrance or counter. Round versions of both have a curved top.

Arch, Curve and Rectangle Tabletop Signs are larger at 11.8″ × 19.7″ (30 × 50 cm), with changeable magnetic letters in two sizes — a full menu rather than a label.

Table numbers

Table Number Stackers are aluminum numbers 1 to 20, marked on both faces, that stack into a single column at close. Black or brass — and two sets gives you two sets of 1-20, with the finishes distinguishing one area from another.

Common questions

Which counter sign should I choose?

Start with reading distance. Pricing Signs sit beside an individual product and are read from arm's length. Counter Signs are read across a counter. The larger sizes and Tabletop Signs are read from a step or two back.

Then choose how you'll change the message: magnetic letters give a consistent typeset look, handwritten cards are fastest, and printed inserts let you use your own design.

What's the difference between all the counter sign shapes?

They use the same magnetic letter system and come in the same set sizes — the difference is the outline. Square-cornered, rounded, circle or curve, so you can match your fit-out. Choose on size first, then shape.

Can I buy extra letters?

Yes. Each range has its own letter size, so check which you need before ordering — the letters aren't interchangeable between products.

Can these be used outdoors?

They're designed for indoor use. Many work in covered outdoor areas — market stalls, sheltered patios — but they're not weatherproof, so keep them out of direct rain and bring them in at the end of the day.

Can I add my logo?

Yes. The signs arrive blank, so a local signwriter or printer can apply a vinyl decal alongside the changeable letters. For the card-based signs, printing your own cards is the simplest option — Card Counter Signs take standard business cards, so any print shop can produce them with your branding.

Are they double-sided?

The Table Talkers are, so you can show a different message on each face. Most counter signs are single-sided.

How do you clean them?

Wipe the steel face with a damp cloth and dry before replacing the letters. Wipe beechwood bases with a dry cloth only.

Do you ship to my country?

We ship to the United Kingdom, Europe, the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Japan. Full details are on our shipping page.
