Rail Menus
A rail menu holds letters or tiles in horizontal rails, so every line sits perfectly straight without you eyeballing it. Some are ten separate rails you mount individually — the menu becomes whatever size and shape your wall allows. One is a single panel with the rails built in.
Every set ships with a full set of letters or tiles.
The range
Atelier Letter Board — ten aluminum rails at 39.4″ (100 cm) each, with 485 anodized aluminum letters at 1″ (2.5 cm) in black or brass. The letters slide into the rails and hold their position. The most premium finish in the range.
Magnetic Menu Board — ten powder-coated steel rails at 39.4″ (100 cm), with 1,032 magnetic EVA foam letters at 1″ (2.5 cm). Letters sit anywhere along the rail, so a menu goes up in minutes and repositions just as fast.
Wooden Letter Board — ten aluminum rails at 39.4″ (100 cm), with 400 pine letter tiles at 1.4″ × 1.8″ (3.5 × 4.6 cm). Tiles come in natural, black or painted white, with rails in black or white. Spare vinyl character stickers are included, so you can make up any character you need on the blank back of a tile.
Menu Board — a self-contained panel at 23.6″ × 31.5″ (60 × 80 cm) with grooved rails across it, taking 510 card tiles at 1.5″ (3.8 cm) high. The tiles are reversible, black one side and white the other, so you can flip the whole colour scheme without buying a second set. Powder-coated aluminum, 11 lbs (5 kg).
Common questions
What's the difference between the rail menus?
The Atelier, Magnetic and Wooden Letter Boards are ten separate rails you mount individually, so the menu can be any size and shape your wall allows, and you can respace or add sections later. The Menu Board uses the same slot-in principle on a single 60 × 80 cm panel that hangs as one piece.
Choose the ten-rail systems for a large or unusual wall, the Menu Board for a self-contained board in a defined space.
Which letters should I choose?
The Atelier's anodized aluminum letters are the most premium finish, in black or brass. The Magnetic Menu Board's foam letters are the quickest to set and reposition. The Wooden Letter Board's pine tiles give a warmer, more tactile look, in three colours. The Menu Board's card tiles are reversible black and white.
Can I make the menu longer?
On the ten-rail systems, yes. Rails come in set lengths, and two placed end to end give you double the run — so you're not limited by the 100 cm rail length. The Menu Board is a single fixed panel.
How far apart should the rails be?
That's up to you. The Atelier includes a spacer for consistent gaps, and because each rail mounts individually you can set them close together for a compact menu or spread them across a larger wall.
How are they installed?
Each set includes stainless screws and fixings, designed for timber and drywall. For tile, brick or concrete, source the appropriate fixings from your hardware store. You'll need a drill, a level and a second pair of hands — level the first rail, then space the rest from it.
Can rail menus be used outdoors?
These are designed as indoor menu displays, so we'd recommend keeping them inside or in a fully covered area.
Can I buy extra letters?
Yes, extra sets are available for each board. Each board has its own letter system — aluminum, magnetic, pine or card — so check which you need before topping up an existing setup.
