That's what this range is for. Folded aluminum blade signs in seven shapes, all double-sided, all supplied blank so your signwriter applies the symbol or wording that suits your space and your language.
The range
All blade signs share the same construction: folded powder-coated aluminum, a pre-drilled mounting tab, wood screws included, double-sided, and rust-resistant enough for exterior use as well as interior corridors.
Circle Blade Sign — 11″ (28 cm) diameter face. Suits a symbol.
Half Round Blade Sign — 11.8″ × 7.9″ (30 × 20 cm), 2.2 lbs (1 kg).
Rectangle Blade Sign — 17.3″ × 5.7″ (44 × 14.5 cm), 2.2 lbs (1 kg). The widest option, so it suits a full word like TOILETS or RESTROOM.
Vertical Blade Sign — 5.7″ × 17.3″ (14.5 × 44 cm), 2.2 lbs (1 kg). Tall and narrow, for stacked lettering, an arrow, or a tight corridor where a wide sign won't fit.
Square Blade Sign — 5.9″ (15 cm) at 0.9 lbs (0.4 kg), or 11.8″ (30 cm) at 3.1 lbs (1.4 kg). Suits a symbol or a short word.
Common questions
Do the signs come with restroom symbols on them?
No. All our blade signs are supplied blank — no decals, symbols or lettering included. A local signwriter can apply vinyl to either face, which means you choose the symbol, the wording and the language rather than working around ours.
Because the signs are double-sided, you'll need a decal for each face if you want the sign to read from both directions.
Which shape should I choose?
It depends what's going on the sign. Rectangle is widest, so a full word like TOILETS or RESTROOM fits at a readable size. Vertical suits stacked lettering, an arrow, or a narrow wall. Circle and square work best with a symbol. All use the same mount, so you can mix shapes across a building and keep the look consistent.
How are they mounted?
Each sign has a folded aluminum tab with pre-drilled holes. Wood screws are included, which fix into solid timber — for plasterboard between studs, or for brick, concrete or tiled walls, you'll need to source the appropriate anchors from a hardware store. At around 1 kg, standard plasterboard anchors hold them comfortably.
What height should a bathroom sign be mounted at?
Eye level works for most spaces. If you're signing a public or commercial facility, check your local accessibility requirements first — many countries set minimum standards for the height, contrast and tactile qualities of restroom signage, and these vary by jurisdiction.
Can these be used outdoors?
Yes. They're powder-coated aluminum throughout, so they're weatherproof and rust-resistant — suitable for exterior walls and covered outdoor areas as well as interior corridors.
What's the difference between a bathroom sign and a toilet sign?
Just the term. Restroom is standard in the US and Canada, toilet in the UK, Australia and New Zealand, and WC across much of Europe. All describe the same facility, and since our signs are supplied blank, you apply whichever wording suits your location.
