Display Cases

A display case keeps product visible and protected on a counter. Ours are used across bakeries, cafés, boutiques, jewellers and galleries — anywhere presentation matters and stock needs to stay clean and undamaged.

All are ambient cases — not refrigerated — and all are countertop rather than floor-standing, built to sit on a service counter without taking more space than they need. Every case ships flat with assembly instructions.

The range

Bakery Display Case — the single-tier case, in three widths: 16.5″, 26.8″ and 38.6″ (42, 68 and 98 cm), all 10.2″ (26 cm) high and 15″ (38 cm) deep. Acrylic panels in an aluminum frame, in black, brass or white. Holds 18 lbs (8 kg), and cases of the same width stack two high. The small case has a door that hinges upward; the regular and large have sliding doors. Widely used for pastries and baked goods, but equally suited to jewellery, ceramics, cosmetics or packaged goods.

Three-Tier Bakery Display Case — the same widths and depth, but 23.6″ (60 cm) high with three levels and 6.7″ (17 cm) between tiers. Each tier holds 18 lbs (8 kg), so 54 lbs (24 kg) across the case — triple the capacity in the same counter footprint. The vertical format suits small items particularly well.

Bakery Display Case Pro — the commercial option, 48″ × 23.6″ × 23.6″ (122 × 60 × 60 cm) in aluminum and tempered glass, with two adjustable glass shelves across seven height positions. Doors lift out for cleaning. Deeper than the standard cases, so measure your counter before ordering.

Wooden Bakery Display Case Pro — the same three-tier commercial case with an oak frame, 48″ × 24.4″ × 24.4″ (122 × 62 × 62 cm). Tempered glass shelves hold 26.5 lbs (12 kg) each.

Common questions

Which display case should I choose?

Start with your counter depth. The Bakery Display Case and Three-Tier are both 15″ (38 cm) deep; the Pro cases are 23.6″ (60 cm), which is a substantial bench footprint. Then decide on capacity: single-tier for one row of product, three-tier for triple the display in the same space, or a Pro case for high volume and heavy daily use.

Can these be used for retail rather than food?

Yes. The same cases work in boutiques, jewellers, galleries and gift shops — anywhere product needs to be visible but protected from handling and dust. A few things that matter more in retail than hospitality: the cases aren't lockable, so they're for deterring handling rather than securing high-value stock; the panels are clear on all sides, so a case can sit mid-counter and be shopped from either side; and the three-tier case gives you vertical display, which suits small items like jewellery or cosmetics better than a single row.

Are these display cases refrigerated?

No. All our cases are ambient — no refrigeration and no heating. They suit pastries, cookies, breads, cakes and slices that are stable at room temperature. For anything needing temperature control, you'll need a refrigerated cabinet.

Glass or acrylic — which is better?

Acrylic is lighter, won't shatter, and costs less — good for a case that gets assembled, moved and cleaned daily. Tempered glass resists scratching far better and holds its clarity over years of commercial use, so it's the choice where the case stays put and gets heavy traffic. Our standard cases are acrylic; the Pro cases are tempered glass.

Are they airtight?

No. The cases aren't sealed. They keep dust and flies off your product and keep it visible, but won't extend shelf life the way sealed storage would.

How do you clean them?

Acrylic scratches more easily than glass, so use a soft cloth and avoid abrasive cleaners or paper towels. Tempered glass takes standard glass cleaner. Our care guide covers cleaning the panels and getting crumbs out of the frame grooves.
