The Large Letter Sidewalk Sign is a freestanding A-frame sign with a changeable letter panel, for use on a footpath outside a shop, café or restaurant. What else is the Large Letter Sidewalk Sign called?
The Large Letter Sidewalk Sign is also known as a sandwich board, A-frame sign, or A-board. In the US and Canada it's usually called a sidewalk sign; in the UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand it's more often a pavement sign. Because the panel takes changeable letters, it's also described as a letter board sidewalk sign or changeable A-frame.
How big is the letter panel?
The hanging letter panel measures 23.6″ × 31.5″ (60 × 80 cm). Above it, between the handle gap and the top rail, there's a 23.6″ × 13.8″ (60 × 35 cm) branding area for your logo or business name.
How does the branding area work?
The 23.6″ × 13.8″ (60 × 35 cm) area above the letter panel is for permanent branding — a signwriter applies your logo or business name as a vinyl decal there, while the panel below stays changeable for daily messages. That way your branding stays consistent and only the message changes.

What sign is best for my storefront or cafe?
If your space is on a busy street, a Sidewalk Sign (also known as an A-Frame Sign) is a great way to catch the eye of people walking past. For visibility from further away, a Blade Sign or an Illuminated Lightbox Sign is ideal since they project from the wall and can be seen day and night.
